Interest Groups

There are currently over 35 interest groups varying in size from three to almost seventy members. Each one has a convenor who leads the group’s activities but each member is encouraged to contribute ideas.

Contacting a Group Convenor

If you would like more information on a Group:

Choose 'Groups' option at the top of the page.

Click on the group that interests you.

To contact the convenor of that group click on the email link on the page.

Fill in the message box with a brief message and click send.

You will be replied to in due course.

Group Co-ordinator/Convenors

We have a Groups co-ordinator who can be contacted by group convenors with any queries they may have.

Come for a 'taster session' and visit groups for up to two times on a trial basis.

Groups will often meet in the town and share cars when travelling to different villages, please be prepared to contribute on a voluntary basis towards the cost of petrol.

Many of the group meetings will be held in members homes and a donation from attendees will be made to cover the hosts costs.
